DT card for Crafting Musketeers Challenge 40

Hiya peeps

Well, how forgetful am I??? This should have been posted
2 weeks ago but you still have time to enter with 12 days
left to enter the challenge over at

I decided to decorate a small MDF plaque using the googly ghost.
I painted it black first it using Indigo Blu Gee-Sso Good! paint & then printed the
digi image on to smooth printer paper at 160gsm weight.
I coloured it using my alcoholic marker pens with the input
of a few metallic pens too, especially around the eyes & the
all over the word "Boo".  I have only decorated the one side
yet it looks good as it is - do you agree??

Thats it for now, I should be back in a couple of days with a card or two.

DT post for Not Just Cards

Hiya peeps

Well its time for the newest post over at

Sorry for the delay peeps, I got delayed because of
being distracted due to my birthday...

We are sponsored this month by the wonderful Bloobel Stamps.

Bloobel "My Shopify" Main Store

The images that Lisa produces are completely unique and are a real delight to work with! There are 2 images of the winners choice up for grabs with plenty to choose from!

I decided to make a normal A5 portrait style card using the funny
"Curtsey". Pencil coloured in oranges & greens with the smallest amount of black in her shoes & hair.
The base cardstock is from Papermill Direct
and is in a silvery blue colour (for a change),
the spring green coloured card is also from Papermill Direct.
All other cardstock is from my own stash
Both of the ribbons and all 3 buttons are all from Crafty Ribbons
The Happy Birthday sentiment was cut in white linen effect from a die set out of my own stash.

I hope you like the finished card.

DT post for Crafty Ribbons, theme is Bicycle

Hiya peeps

Welcome to the new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons
where the theme, chosen by me is Bicycle(s) but dont
forget to add the all important ribbon.....

For my take on this theme I chose to make a tag,
so I could pass it on to one of my sisters (as her husband is a
regular Bicycle rider and his birthday is this next month).

I used a Tonic Studios die set called
(available at other places but this set I found on Ebay UK)
Its a beautiful tag set and I used a linen effect white cardstock
from Papermill Direct to cut the tag out, not using any of the other 2 dies in the set, leaving a full centre so the bicycle die could be cut
out and glued in to place in the centre.  I glued a white die cut
"happy birthday" just above....

The black silk ribbon I used was one length off the red silk from the

I hope you like what I have made & that you join in with our challenge

DT card for Crafty Ribbons July 14th 2016

Hiya peeps

Its time for the new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons where the theme
is "Christmas with Ribbon"

My make for this challenge is a 6x6 inch card with the
Classic Christmas - MC Snowflake (9mm) ribbon
just a single line of ribbon using a slit in the fold of the base card to
thread the ribbon through so it can be secured on the inside front at both ends.
The teal glittered card was cut using brand new release items
from Tonic Studios and its called Candy Cane Frame Die Set (1371E). You can
just about make out the candy canes with a bow on them. What I did though also,
was to cut another set of the dies but using silver mirri card and then I mounted
the silver centre piece, being the rectangle complete with stocking in the middle of
the teal die cut frame. I love the whole clean setting that the glitter frame and
single row of ribbon gives to the base white linen effect card.
Watch out for the other 2 new frames in the near future.......................

DT card for Crafting Musketeers where the theme is Babies!!!

Hiya peeps
Its time for a challenge theme of "Babies"....

You can find that challenge on our
Crafting Musketeers #39
to see our gorgeous projects from the DT.

The white card stock is from Papermill Direct, the ribbons are

The image is from the lovely Di's Digi Stamps and its
called Baby Bear Scales. Its a darling image to colour using my alcoholic marker pens.
I matt & layered different backing papers, all in beautiful shades of blues, with, the 2 main top
papers in baby boy paper.
The white paper, that the image is printed on is just plain but not the cheapest,
photocopier paper. At the moment I have used is Office Depot colour printing paper
(from Viking Office Supplies).l found the best way to order is to buy at least 3 - 5 reams
(packets) at a time.
The rest of the items on this card are from my own stash.
Im so pleased how this 8x8 inch card has turned out.
I would like to see your comments below ;) x

DT card for Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog, 16th June

Hiya peeps

Today I am showing you a card that Ive made for my DT post for
Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog where the theme for the "bows" team,
of which I am on, is a favourite of everyones, being Anything Goes!!

I have made a smallish card using part of a kit from
Lelli-Bots, Daisy Daisy toppers & papers kit, a piece of Spring Green A3
250gsm smooth card from Papermill Direct,

I used one topper (it has a thin silver effect foiled border just in from the edge)
and using foam pads (2mm thick) stuck it to one of the backing papers and
then stuck the animal shaped buttons on (well a bird, a butterfly & a snail)
The ribbon is just one small strip & a smallish bow stuck down to the strip.

I hope you like this card & can find the inspiration to join in with our
Anything Goes challenge which can be found HERE
