Polkadoodles Blog Challenge 9 part 2

This is my second entry into the Polkadoodles blog challenge 9, entitled:

Polkadots and Stripes or Both

This entry is another small easel card this time featuring 3 Toadstools from a freebie
that came with a craft magazine called Making cards. The beaded polkadoted oval was made using a spellbinders cutting die as was the little tag that the stamped sentiment is on.
The polkadot papers are from various cderoms of Polkadoodles that I own, the pink card die cut that I had given me when I brought some craft stash off a Facebook friend of mine.

I was entering this card into the following challenge:

Polkadoodles Blog Challenge 9 entry 1

Good Morning all,
This mornings blog challenge is for Polkadoodles entitled: Polkadots and Stripes or Both!!

I loved this challenge this much that I made two cards lol...mind you they were only 2 small easel cards that are so easy to make. This is the first:

The owl easel card was using a free stamped images, coloured with promarkers,
that came with a craft magazine some time ago (I cant remember). the polkadot
papers came from various cdroms of Polkadoodles that I own.  The ribbon
(with owls on) is from my own stash. I added a mini gem to the centre of the
flower on the ribbon just to add some bling.

Passion For Promarkers Blog Challenge wk 139

Good Morning on what seems to be a wonderful start of the day....
Ive, this morning, whilst browsing Facebook, a blog challenge for Promarkers! Boy, am I pleased. Ive found a few previous card makes that will go with this weeks challenge of For Mum/Female cards...hence I shall be entering more than one card.
So for the Passion for Promarkers week 139-Theme For Mum/Female:

These are two stamped images of Polly Pocket from Crafters Companion that were made into cards using my Grande Calibur and my Grande Scalloped Circle Spellbinders cutting dies on 300gsm white card and then a smaller sized scalloped cirle on pink 250gsm card. The finishing cutting die is a basic circle, but again using my Grande Circle die on watercolour paper at approx 200gsm weight. I coloured the 2 images with promarkers (of course lol) and added feathers on each card with pink ribbon with purple polkadots. The 2 cards were made for twin girls staring school for the first time last September. This was a customers order which received a fabulous review from the customer when they received the cards through the post from me.
These cards are being entered into the follwing challenge:

Lilli's Little Fairies Challenge Blog

Good  afternoon from a miserable rainy Burntwood. Its been horrible all night and all morning.... not good. Ive had a visit from my Occupational Therapist earlier this morning, discussing the best option for which room my new back door is to go. I wanted
it to go off my new bedroom but its not going to be possible in the near future when I will be in a wheelchair. I wasnt happy with the designers first option but the new option which suits me and my OC is to take the back door off my living room.. My OC will be talking to the designer this afternoon so I should know within a few days what the deal is so to speak.
Anyway, back to what my blog is about, designing and making cards!!

This challenge was called: Peaches and Cream! What a lovely thought...mmmm  hehehehe
The Blog Challenge can be found with the following link:

Leaves cut out from the same papers that I used to matt&layer finsihed off with a Stampenous sentiment and the organza/wire/sequined flower in the cente on the leaves is from Craftworks.

The Paper Shelter Blog Challenge

Im doing well, Ive had my morning shower to wake me up (well, hopfully anyway).  Im now sat at my craft table with the tv on (Judge Judy as theres nothing else on yet)  and will have to get crafting on a Wedding Card commission.
For this challenge it was a case of "Fancy Folds" so I decided to do some Iris Folding that I saw in one of my old craft magazines that I was moving, it caught my eye as the card that they showed was so beautiful and very summery, but could be modified to suit any woman/lady that loved handbags. See what you think:

This one you can see that Ive made into a Mother's Day card, using embossed coloured
cards, little "gems" to form the handle of the handbag and larger "gems" for the clasp.
I used 15mm wide strips of paper from a 6"x6" paper pad called "Flower Patch" by Making Memories. The net flower in the middle of the Iris Folding is from Craft Work, which is part of a prize i won last year when I sent a card to a craft magazine competition. I cant remember where I go the "with love" and "mum" sentiments but they are just perfect for this card.

I am entering this card into the:

I hope you like the finished result, I know I do! ;-)

The Papertake Blog Challenge

Well, yet another week starts and another sleep free night ;( not good at all.

Atleast Ive managed some good days of crafting over the last few days, which, for  a change, has been over the weekend. I will be blogging and posting photos of all of them over the next day or so when Ive managed to catch up on some sleep.
I hope to get some more cards made today. Im selling at a craft fair on the 17th March,
and I need to get some new stock made. (Plus a few blog challenges made too lol !!).

Im really pleased with the creation below for the Papertake weekely challenge:

I used a Rachel Miller stamp from Stampervie for this card

A closer view of the stamped image plus the embossed dotty
white background card & the layers on the flowers

This card is an 8in x 8in cream scalloped edge card which I topped with the white base card, then topped that with the green checked paper, measured and cut the embossed dottydded the shades of green striped ribbon across the white card. I then
started to assemble the flowers using pinflair glue gel inbetween the layers finally topping with a clear faux gem. I then glued them into place using pinflair glue gel. the final touches were to top with the sentiment and image (which I had already layered onto pink polka dot paper),  and the faux pearlescent pearls (3 in each of the 3 remaining corners).
