Fit for a little future Princess

Me again peeps, lol,

This post is a cutie card for you as I had made it for a friends grandaughters 1st Birthday and I wanted to go just a bit over the top!!!
I used a delightful digi called Future Princess and she is so sweet. Coloured with Graph It markers, addition of pearls and crystals to form the crown and sceptre, using metallic glitter pens on the fur part of the robe, necklace and sceptre handle.
Touch of lace and white grosgrain ribbon with "princess" on finishing off with a bow.

Weird & Whimsical card using a Lacy Sunshine digi

Hiya peeps

For this blog post Ive bought you a Weird and Whimsical card that Ive created using a digi image from Lacy Sunshine. I must admit that its a while since Ive used one of her digis.
The concept of weird and whimsical is such a fab idea and I have the ideal backing paper to cover the base card & then add the digi on that I had chose to use.

So, I decided to use the fabulous digi image of Amelia from Lady Heather's Curosities Collection and added her to a fabulous paper from Crafters Companion called "Halcyon Days", cutting off the paper a short half way mark and the non waste part was glued to the inside of the card, this is then ready for a sentiment or verse of my choice should I decide who to send it to or of I sell it the words can be of the customers choice.

Wryn Spring Bling

Hiya peeps,

Its time for my DT post for Tiddly Inks and this creation that I have made is so gorgeous, the image of course being the gorgeous bit lol.
I have used the beautiful Wryn, Spring Bling and coloured her using Graph It marker pens. I also added some glitter/sparkle using a Sakura gelly roll glitter pen on some parts. After cutting her out I stuck her on to a pre coloured patterned panel, layering that onto some fabulous turquoise cardstock, both from my stash, rounded the corners on both paper & card, The base cardstock came with a kit that I had split up ages ago so folded it in half and adding the 7mm silk ribbon stash bags (14 x 50mm lengths) from Crafty Ribbons (also available in 4mm width & in 7 x 1mtr sets).  I then topped the card stock with a matching ribbon bow and 3 different types of artificial flowers, stuck the (luckily) matching faux pearls (where the printed flower heads were on the pattern) and "Hello" sentiment all of which are from my own stash. Im very lucky to have the matching coloured items in my stash, but there again, Ive got so much its very unlikely that anything I do have doesnt match!!! ;D

Pink Shades on a card for Crafty Ribbons DT

Hiya peeps,

Two posts in as many days, you are honoured!! lol. ive made so many cards lately that I really need to get posting about them all.

This card is my Design Team creation for August on behalf of Crafty Ribbons. We are instructed with the newest delivery from the factory & boss Ali.  From the summer festival collection I have chosen to use a gorgeous Grosgrain Ribbon - Swiss Dot Quartz/Hot Pink from Crafty Ribbons along with this delightful pre coloured image (I think its from Crafters Companion but I cant be sure.).

Using smooth white card stock (from Papermill Direct in the Lake District/Website) I cut the A4 sheet of card down to an A5 size and then scored & folded in to the easel shape that I wanted.
I used a piece of 12x12 Papermania Parkstone Pink Capsule Collection (which are double sided)
and used that as a backing piece for the image. I added 3 little birds that I had die cut using the
same backing paper. Also adding a piece as a stopper (with foam pads to stick it down), wrapped with a piece of the same Swiss Dot Ribbon and a Chocolate Box Bow on top. I found a gorgeous piece of A4 paper that was a shame to cut but it went so so well with the pinks but added a touch of blue to the card. It had a wavy ribbon style line going across the paper but I wanted to cover that with the Swiss Dot Ribbon. Adding the flat backed pearls was the finishing touch to this card.
I hope you all like this little card. It is being sent off, along with some of my other makes to
Crafty Ribbons HQ so they can be displayed on the backing of the exhibition boards ready for the winter season.

Pink & Turquoise Bugaboo Coffee Card

Hiya peeps,

Today's first card is made using a Bugaboo digi called Stella Peeper - Magical Substance and was so much fun to not only colour, but also to read the fabulous funny (and sometimes relevant) sentiment/phrase!!

I decided to make a tri-fold card using a beautiful sheet of A4 turquoise 225gsm card from
Papermill Direct. The pastel pink dot backing paper is available from most websites, mine was from my own stash,  as is the large faux turquoise gem.
The 2 buttons, either side of the large faux gem, along with the 2 different ribbons are all from Crafty Ribbons.
The White Swiss Dot with Sea coloured dots are part of the new "Summer Festival ribbons - 10mm" range. The ribbon underneath the Swiss Dots is the 15mm Sky coloured  Organza Sheer

I really hope you like the card, and the bows which are my favourite part, but those who know me, would know that Im a ribbon addict lol......

Me 2 You Bear Birthday cards for my DT

Hiya peeps

I would like to show you mainly more photos of my 2 cards that are shown on the
Crafting Musketeers Challenge Blog Halfway Post

Both cards are made using the Me 2 You Bears cd rom released & licensed by DoCrafts some years ago and is not presently available on their website but you could find a copy on Create and Craft TV website but also possibly on Ebay or other craft suppliers websites, I fully recommend buying this cd rom as its full of gorgeous digital images, papers,

The first Me 2 you bear is an A4 sized cards as I always prefer to send my eldest daughter and my 3 grandsons that size, where as my youngest Tia likes a square card so usually I make her an 8x8 & shes always happy with any card that I make for her. The 2nds card as seen below, is for my eldest step daughter, she also is a fan of Me 2 You bears and has a fabulous collection.

The pink & white flowers were brought from Ebay and the pink Happy Birthday (other colours available)  and the 23mm Gold Edge Sheer Red (under the Happy Birthday) are both from Crafty Ribbons website/blog/challenge blog.

Animal Friends Challenge, #29 - At The Zoo

This card below,  as I have already said, was made for my eldest stepdaughter's birthday, which was just a couple of days before my own eldest daughter (the card above).  Its an A5 size. The papers are from a mixture of Me 2 You 12 x 12 paper pack and my own stash (brought last year sometime), as for the flowers, they are real dried flowers and I brought them from Joanna Sheen but I cant find them on her website today. The Happy Birthday tag is from a Me 2 You Papercrafting kit.

Canine Capers on a card....

Hiya peeps,

How are you all doing?? Im feeling so much brighter today (well at 4.20am anyway).

A more cheerier card than my last post, but Ive made this card for no particular reason,
Ive just had the rubber stamp for ages and not used it for so long that I knew it needed
an airing again lol.

The stamp set consists of 3 dog images and 4 sentiments,, called Canine Capers 1 by
Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

The stamped image of the dog has been coloured using Distress pens by Tim Holtz.

Everything else was made from items that were from my own stash.

A card which we all hate making and sending...

Hello dear crafty friends,

Yes, the card that we all dread sending is a Sympathy card, this is one Ive sent to the father of my best friend of 40+ years as her mum passed away last week. I did send one to my friend but as her home was my 2nd home during high school, I really wanted to send a Sympathy card to Lynn's dad....

I used a couple of items from Hunkydory and they are called Window to the Heart Miniature Postcards but I cant seem the find them on either Hunkydory's  website or even Create & Craft where I brought them from (as they were a BOGOF offer at the time).

Anyway, the beautiful Grey Cotton Lace and Cream Sheer Organza Ribbon are both available from Crafty Ribbons fabulous website... you will be spoilt for choice from that website as there must be thousands of different colours/types/designs for you to choose from..

I hope you are inspired by this particular card.... even though it's a sad circumstance. Ribbons and/or lace can brighten any occasion made card.
